Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen and supporting food preparation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment efficiently.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed by the executive chef.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by regularly cleaning surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure all food handling practices meet health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for various events or shifts.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
  • Experience in culinary roles such as cooking and food preparation is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
