Job Number: R Electrical Engineer, Lead Key Role: Manage the planning, design, construction and maintenance of physical infrastructure electrical systems. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Basic Qualifications: * 11 + years of experience with electrical, industrial or facility reverse engineering and vulnerability assessment or analysis

  • Experience with engineering research, capability or limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis or characterizations, and vulnerability assessments of facility electrical systems
  • Experience with developing operator interface modules, controls architecture, and electronic components
  • Experience with low-level development, including interrupt handlers, device drivers, controlling peripherals, and reading and writing Flash memory
  • Experience with digital and analog control systems, power electronics, electromagnetic interference (EMI) techniques, and radio frequency (RF)
  • Experience in project management
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics Additional Qualifications: * Experience in engineering with MEP construction drawing sets
  • Experience with developing innovative hardware and software solutions and systems for DoD using C or C++ and Python programming languages
  • Knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), NFPA, ANSI, ASCE, and civil and environmental systems industry standards
  • Knowledge of underground facilities or hard and deeply buried targets
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred; Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field a plus
  • Professional Engineering Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
