Job Description

We are currently looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. The Dishwasher will maintain the kitchen and all equipment in a sanitary condition. All duties will be performed within the guidelines of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and objectives. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent) and some experience cleaning kitchens.

The benefits listed below are dependent on number of hours worked.

Responsibilities

  • Loads dishwasher with dirty dishes as needed
  • Ensures that the dishwasher machine is cleaning properly
  • Maintains a clean workstation at all times
  • Ensures that the dishes are clean and sanitized
  • Sweeps and mops kitchen and cleans walls as needed
  • Cleans pots and pans
  • Supports the cooks during busy operation periods
  • Follows all company policies, procedures, and standards regarding job duties, attendance, personal appearance and demeanor, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have experience cleaning kitchens
  • Must be a hard worker
  • Must be able to speak and hear, use close and distance vision, and identify and distinguish colors
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
