Why This Role Matters

The Senior Platform Engineer is a critical role on the Conquer Engineering team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing the systems that power our platform. From deployment pipelines and server health to infrastructure security and system reliability, this role plays a central part in delivering a stable, scalable product to customers.

By driving cross-functional excellence in infrastructure and software operations, this role supports uptime, accelerates development cycles, and ensures seamless deployment of new features. Platform Engineering is the backbone of our innovation, and this role helps ensure that backbone is fast, secure, and reliable.

What You'll Do

Maintain and improve Conquer's deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure

Manage and monitor system reliability, performance, and uptime

Participate in server maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, and on-call rotation

Support internal engineering workflows and CI/CD automation

Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Security teams to ensure system stability and scalability

Troubleshoot production issues and participate in postmortem processes

Contribute to infrastructure security and compliance efforts

Identify and implement best practices for DevOps and platform reliability

What You Bring

Site Reliability, DevOps, or Platform Engineering experience

Strong understanding of Kubernetes and/or Docker Swarm administration

Background in software engineering or IT administration (or both)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving systems

Comfort operating in a remote-first, fast-moving, team-oriented environment

Familiarity with modern deployment tools and monitoring stacks (e.g., Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) is a plus

Deployment processes run smoothly, with minimal friction or downtime

Infrastructure issues are resolved quickly, and root causes are addressed

System uptime and performance remain consistently high

Engineering teams feel supported and unblocked by platform services

You're seen as a go-to team member for stability, reliability, and technical insight
