Job Description
As a Security Officer - Hotel Access Control Desk in Myrtle Beach, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the hotel and resort premises.Verify identification and credentials of guests, visitors, and contractors entering the location.Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for hotels and resorts.Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding guests and staff during evacuations or other urgent situations.Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to address security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment.Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Closing
