Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. Must be 21 years old. This role requires effective leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to build a high-performing team.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize food production.
  • Utilize POS system Toast for efficient cash handling and sales tracking.
  • Develop, manage budgets, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest feedback and enhancing dining experiences.
  • Supervise kitchen management, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation standards.
  • Coordinate shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and food safety standards.
  • Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and financial management within a restaurant setting.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff through training & development initiatives.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • A background in hospitality management or kitchen management is highly desirable. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48, $52,000.00 per year
