Panache Pilates is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media & Content Intern/Assistant to support our Instagram and TikTok presence. This is a primarily remote internship with occasional paid, in-person content shoots in Jersey City or New York City.

This role is ideal for college students or recent graduates looking to build a strong portfolio, gain hands-on brand experience, and receive a professional reference.

Responsibilities:

  • Create 3–5 Instagram Story posts daily (content requires approval before posting)
  • Assist with Instagram and TikTok content creation
  • Develop and pitch your own social media strategy, alongside the existing brand strategy
  • Ensure all content aligns with Panache Pilates' elevated, wellness-forward aesthetic
  • Assist with occasional paid, in-person content shoots

Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in social media, wellness, fitness, or lifestyle brands
  • Good visual eye and understanding of brand aesthetics
  • Familiar with Instagram Stories, Reels, and TikTok
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand goals across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Create compelling visual and written content including graphics, videos, photography, and blog posts using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing tools.
  • Manage daily social media activities including scheduling posts with Buffer or Hootsuite, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments to foster community relationships.
  • Conduct keyword research and SEO optimization to increase content visibility and improve search rankings.
  • Utilize social listening tools to monitor brand reputation, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Implement Facebook Advertising campaigns and analyze their performance using Google Analytics and web analytics tools.
  • Coordinate public relations efforts through social media channels to enhance brand image and manage crisis communications when necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.
  • Track campaign performance metrics, prepare reports on engagement rates, reach, conversions, and ROI for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform updates, digital marketing techniques, and emerging technologies like e-commerce integrations.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe Creative Suite applications for graphic design and visual content creation.
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer for scheduling and analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research strategies, and web analytics including Google Analytics.
