The City of Greensboro is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Park Operations Procurement and Support Specialist to join the Parks and Recreation Department. This position provides essential financial, purchasing, and administrative support to the Park Operations and Public Space Development and Maintenance divisions. You will manage process procurement and contract documentation, track revenue, and coordinate public shelter reservations that generate over $100,000 annually. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across teams, values accuracy, and understands how strong administrative and financial systems keep operations running efficiently. You will communicate with vendors, oversee purchasing processes, support financial planning, maintain web content, and provide excellent customer service to residents and internal teams.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four (4) to six (6) years of related experience in procurement, purchasing, administrative support, or office management.
- Equivalency: High School Diploma and 8 years of related experience in procurement & purchasing, admin support and office management
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License.
- Experience providing customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with computer programs including purchasing software, recreation software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated office management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Experience with Infor CloudSuite financial systems.
- Experience with RecTrac recreation management software.
