Afternoon Float Teacher – SW Minneapolis

Especially for Children (EFC) in SW Minneapolis is seeking an afternoon float teacher to join our teaching team.

Especially for Children is a local, family-owned organization that has provided high-quality educational childcare since 1976. Our teachers build meaningful relationships with children, families, and one another while supporting learning through The Creative Curriculum, a play-based approach that encourages curiosity and exploration.

Schedule options:

  • Afternoon shifts starting between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., ending at 6:00 p.m.
  • Full-time option available: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

We're looking for a float teacher who:

  • Has at least 6 months of experience in a childcare center or school setting
  • Relates positively to young children and families
  • Is passionate about providing high-quality care, learning opportunities, and a safe environment
  • Works well as part of a collaborative team
  • Has college credits and/or a CDA (preferred)
