Presidio is seeking an

Analyst to add to our Technology investment banking team in our San Francisco Bay Area office (Marin County). Our office is located in Larkspur, CA.

PTP provides merger & acquisition, recapitalization, and capital raising advisory services. Our professionals possess deep expertise in technology & software with vertical expertise in transportation SaaS, insurance SaaS and real estate SaaS. Transportation SaaS is our most active vertical. As an elite boutique bank, this role provides a compelling opportunity to join a rapidly growing team highly focused on deal execution and to work directly with senior team members. Presidio has closed 26+ transportation SaaS transactions in 3.5 years (record years for the company), with a robust M&A pipeline for 2026 and beyond including several large deals. Presidio has closed 6 deals the first half of 2025 in the transportation software ecosystem and expects to close 2-3 additional deals by Q4 2025.

Analyst interested in being part of a growing, entrepreneurial environment. The Analyst position offers candidates the opportunity to gain valuable financial modeling skills, work closely with senior members of the Technology team and gain exposure to the entire deal execution process. Presidio hires hard working, dedicated, highly motivated individuals. The individuals are typically intellectually curious, driven and detail-oriented workers with a commitment to delivering exceptional work product for clients and colleagues.

As a analyst on the Presidio technology team, you will assume significant responsibilities related to deal execution and deal pitching. Analysts will spend the majority of their time working on live deals and will have the unique opportunity to gain exposure to all facets of a live deal. We look for candidates who are effective at working in a team environment, and who are interested in a long-term investment banking career.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Detailed Financial Modeling: construct and maintain complex financial models and revenue by customer waterfalls. Deep knowledge of gross and net revenue retention calculations, and other SaaS KPIs is highly valued (logo retention, revenue bridge, ARPA growth, cross-sell and upsell analyses, etc.)
  • Valuation Analyses: create and maintain precedent transactions, public trading comparables and merger models. Conduct in-depth industry research and demonstrate key valuation drivers for valuing SaaS companies.
  • Marketing Materials Preparation: Prepare client presentations, pitch books, teasers, confidential information memoranda and other transaction-related marketing materials.
  • Industry Research: Conducting detailed industry research, competitive analysis and assessing market data trends.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

Successful candidates will have exceptional leadership skills, a commitment to teamwork, excellent communications skills and a passion for learning. Ideal candidates will have prior investment banking internship experience at other elite boutique banks.

Desired skills include:

  • The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in business, economics, accounting or a related field
  • Completed Bachelor's Degree between December June 2025
  • At least one internship of technology investment banking experience
  • Proven record of outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activities
  • A clearly defined interest in investment banking
  • Detail oriented with a strong understanding of the financial statements
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and resourceful self-starter
  • Excellent business judgment and ethics
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in an energetic, fast-paced environment
  • Live in the San Francisco Bay Area (or be willing to relocate) and work in the Larkspur office 5 days a week
