Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-Time Donut Server/Cashier to join our donut shop team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions accurately, and assisting as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively during busy hours. Prior experience working with boba &smoothie or prior work experience as a barista is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. This position is perfect for those seeking part-time work.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
  • Prepare and serve donuts and other light food items following proper food safety and sanitation standards
  • Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change efficiently
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
  • Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, counters, and dining space including bussing tables as needed
  • Restock supplies and ensure food presentation meets quality standards
  • Assist in basic food preparation tasks as required in a quick service setting
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation standards
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly

Work Schedule

Below is the work schedule that we are looking to fill. The schedule may be adjusted in the future.

  • Monday 7:00 am to 9:00 am (2 hours)
  • Friday 7:00 am to 10:00 am (3 hours)
  • Sunday 7:30 am to 8:30 am (1 hour)

Skills

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or retail is preferred; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and sales upselling
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments such as quick service restaurants or cafes is advantageous
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in food service operations

Pay: $15.45 per hour
