Program Manager

The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating and implementing all aspects of residential care and services required to meet the needs of residents.
Ensure staff members comply with agency standards. Interview, screen, train, and evaluate staff and volunteers according to agency policies. Consult with staff on matters concerning Lourdeshouse and its residents on a regular basis. Schedule and coordinate staff and volunteers to ensure ongoing supervision and quality care of residents. Coordinate and conduct staff meetings.
Develop and operate within a yearly budget. Oversee staff hours to ensure maximum funding. Complete required reports. Supervise the day-to-day cleanliness, safety guidelines and general conditions of the building, grounds, and agency vehicles.
Review and sign off on all Individual Service Plans and Aftercare Plans. Supervise educational programs for residents. Assist with House Meetings with residents as needed.
Leadership, planning and organizational skills, decision making ability, takes initiative, results orientated, time management, and tolerance for stress.
The physical demands described here are representative of these that must be met by employees to successfully perform the essential job functions of this position. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, reasonable accommodations will be considered. Use of hands, wrists and fingers and lifting or moving up to 25 lbs. will be required. Movements such as stooping, crouching, bending, kneeling, and reaching are required. Requires spending a majority of the workday sitting with occasional standing and walking. The location of the program requires the ability to climb stairs on an infrequent basis if the elevator is not working. Noise and/or level of distractions in the work environment are moderate.
Lourdeshouse is a 24 hour, 7 days a week facility and does not close for inclement weather. Staff is expected to work during scheduled working hours.
Bachelor's degree in related Human Service field from an accredited college or university or five years' experience of working in a residential setting with combined supervisory and case management experience required.
