The Project Coordinator will manage construction and renovation projects in alignment with Fello Communities' mission and the goals set by the Director of Construction Management. Responsibilities include organizing projects, maintaining timelines and budgets, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and effectively managing project documentation and communication. The Project Coordinator will work closely with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring the successful completion of all projects.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented project professional with hands-on experience managing residential or commercial construction and renovation projects. They are skilled at balancing budgets, coordinating contractors, maintaining timelines, and upholding the highest safety and quality standards. This person thrives in fast-paced environments, brings strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and can communicate effectively with diverse teams and partners. The role requires someone who is both technically capable and relationship-driven—able to manage complex logistics while fostering collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of experience working in residential or commercial construction or renovation projects at a lead or project coordinator level. A bachelor's degree in a related field and/or experience as a superintendent or general contractor is preferred. Candidates must hold a valid Maryland Driver's License with no egregious violations and demonstrate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and project management systems.
