Position Summary
The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for designing and executing a multi-brand growth strategy that drives 8–10% annual revenue increase, strengthens local market share, and unifies Gastronomica's brands under a compelling, community-driven identity.
This leader will blend B2C brand strategy with B2B revenue generation through events, partnerships, and catering while managing all aspects of digital marketing, sales analytics, and brand performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Growth
Develop and implement a 12–18 month multi-unit sales & marketing strategy aligned with corporate revenue targets.
Identify growth opportunities in new markets, delivery, and events to increase total sales by 8–10% annually.
Design campaigns integrating digital, social, influencer, and community marketing with ROI accountability.
Oversee brand positioning and storytelling ensuring consistency across 4 ( to 6) restaurant concepts.
2. Sales Performance & Analytics
Build and manage a sales forecasting model tied to monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
Partner with Operations and Finance to align marketing spend with EBITDA and unit P&L performance.
Optimize CRM and loyalty platforms to increase customer retention by 15%+ (aligned with NRA 2025 trends).
Lead cross-functional promotional calendars driving incremental traffic and average check lift.
3. B2B & Event Revenue
Expand B2B partnerships (corporate events, catering, tourism alliances) contributing at least 10–15% of total group sales.
Negotiate local collaborations with hotels, tour operators, and community organizations to expand brand visibility.
4. Team Leadership & Culture
Lead, coach, and develop a marketing and sales team (4–6 FTEs) fostering accountability and creativity.
Collaborate with HRBP and Operations to create training programs for sales execution and guest engagement.
Instill a culture of data-driven decision-making and psychological safety across departments.
5. Brand Development & Guest Experience
Elevate Gastronomica's voice as the "Locals for Locals, the most cuban experience" cultural hub in Miami.
Integrate customer analytics and sentiment tracking (NPS, online reviews, survey data) to inform experience improvements.
Drive initiatives that enhance Guest Lifetime Value (LTV) and reduce acquisition cost (CAC).
