The Junior Graphic Designer will support the creative team in producing high-quality visual assets across digital and print mediums, contributing to the company's brand and marketing initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in executing design projects from concept to completion while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. Additionally, the Junior Designer will have opportunities to expand their skill set, including emerging areas like 3D design, while gaining valuable industry experience in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating visual assets for digital and print, including social media, web, packaging, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Support designers in refining concepts and executing design projects from ideation to final production.
  • Ensure consistency with brand guidelines across all creative outputs.
  • Work closely with designers, marketing teams, and product teams to develop creative solutions.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to design projects.
  • Receive and incorporate feedback effectively to improve designs.
  • Prepare and organize files for production, ensuring accuracy in specifications and formats.
  • Maintain a structured and organized file system for easy access and version control.
  • Assist in organizing, cataloging, and maintaining the sample showroom and material library and ensure they are neatly stored and easily accessible for the design team.
  • Help source, update, and request new material samples as needed.
  • Keep the showroom space clean, presentable, and ready for client or internal team use.
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices to contribute innovative ideas.
  • Conduct research on competitors and industry trends to inform design decisions.
  • Use industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
  • Assist in basic prototyping and layout adjustments in tools like Figma, Sketch, or Canva.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient with Google Suite or related software.
  • Strong design sense with an eye for typography, color, layout, and composition.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience with Figma or Sketch is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of design principles for both digital and print mediums.
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines while bringing creativity to design projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new design tools, trends, and techniques.
  • Experience or interest in 3D design, motion graphics, or UI/UX is a plus.
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and implement changes efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of production processes, including preparing files for print and digital use.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to contribute creative ideas.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 0-2 years of professional design experience, including internships or freelance work.
  • Portfolio showcasing design skills, creativity, and an understanding of branding and marketing.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or Canva is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of print production, digital design, and layout principles.
  • Experience or coursework in 3D design, motion graphics, or UI/UX is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to withstand emotional and physical stress.
