Front Desk Receptionist - Come be the face of Pilgrim as you greet visitors, patients, residents, and staff of Pilgrim Rehab

Schedule

Monday 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm

Tuesday 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm

Wednesday 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm

Thursday 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Friday: 8am - 1pm.

Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to perform assigned administrative duties in accordance with established procedures, and as directed by the supervisor, to assure that a successful, viable, administrative program is maintained at all times.

Job Functions:

  • Type, file and distribute correspondence as directed.
  • Answer telephone, make appointments, run errands, take and deliver messages, etc., as directed.
  • Sort, distribute, and route incoming mail to appropriate residents, departments, and/or personnel.
  • Type letters, reports, statements, minutes of meetings, agendas, etc., as necessary/directed.
  • Maintain files and other records as directed.
  • Receive and screen office visitors and telephone calls as necessary.
  • Perform admitting, reception, telephone and/or switchboard duties as necessary/directed.
  • Perform unscheduled administrative task as directed.
  • Serve as secretary to various committees of the facility as necessary/directed.
  • Other related duties and responsibilities that may become necessary to meet the needs of the facility.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors and the general public.
  • Must possess the ability to work harmoniously with other personnel.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as to be willing to handle residents, staff and visitors based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
  • Must be knowledgeable in secretarial duties, use of equipment, etc., related to secretarial functions.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Will meet all physical requirements of the position as identified by the facility policies and procedures

related to functional job analysis.
