We are looking for team members that know how to make an excellent lasting first and last impression with our guests. A hosts job is to roll out the red carpet and make all of our guests feel Famous.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Opens doors for arriving and departing Guests.
- Greets, engages, and seats all Guests in a warm and friendly manner, making a Famous first impression.
- Accommodates any special needs, (i.e. boosters, highchairs, disabilities, large parties, etc.).
- Assists in maintaining the overall Guest flow of the restaurant.
- As Guests are departing, inquire about their experience, thank them for dining with us, and invite them back.
- Will perform side duties including, but not limited to, answering the phone, taking "To Go" orders, bussing tables, general cleaning, expediting orders, and checking out Guests.
- Manages the Waitlist as needed, quoting accurate wait times.
- Provides assistance to servers.
- Maintains clean and organized work and entry areas (including windows, ledges, door handles and floors).
- Checks the overall cleanliness of the restrooms every 30 minutes.
- Understands and accurately uses the P.O.S. (point of sale) system FOR clocking in/out, to process "To Go" orders and guest checks, and complete end of shift duties
Qualifications:
- Reliable
- Good organizational skills
- Previous experience as a host preferred
