We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our property management team in Rochester, MN. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong sense of responsibility, and enjoys keeping spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.

Position Summary

The Day Porter plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our managed commercial buildings during business hours. This position supports both the property management and maintenance teams by performing light cleaning, upkeep, and tenant-service tasks throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of common areas, lobbies, restrooms, and exterior entrances.
  • Monitor and restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and trash liners.
  • Respond promptly to tenant service requests and maintenance needs.
  • Assist with minor repairs, light bulb replacements, and touch-up cleaning as needed.
  • Maintain neatness in parking lots, sidewalks, and entryways, including seasonal upkeep (e.g., salt application, debris removal).
  • Communicate with property management and vendors regarding any issues requiring attention.
  • Ensure all cleaning and maintenance is performed safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance work (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, professional spaces
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
  • Valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
