Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
  • Manage inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing and reporting.
  • Train, develop, and supervise staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Conduct interviews and hire new team members as needed.
  • Implement effective shift management practices to optimize labor costs and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
  • Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to achieve operational goals.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary experience.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial management practices.
  • Experience with inventory control and budgeting processes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
  • Previous experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining establishments is preferred.
  • Background in hospitality management or kitchen management is advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
