Senior Project Manager - Power Delivery Projects

A leading professional consulting firm is seeking a
Senior Project Manager
to join its growing Power Delivery team. This role is ideal for a seasoned project leader with a strong background in transmission, distribution, or substation.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery through effective scope, schedule, cost, and risk management. You'll serve as a key liaison between clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, while also mentoring junior project managers and contributing to business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple service lines
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure client satisfaction
  • Oversee project financials including invoicing, AR collection, and budget compliance
  • Drive proposal strategy, contract negotiations, and strategic pursuits
  • Develop and implement client growth strategies in collaboration with market leadership
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to project teams
  • Ensure quality assurance and risk mitigation across all deliverables

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of project management experience in power-related infrastructure
  • Proven success in client management, strategic planning, and proposal development
  • Strong understanding of technical service groups and ability to cross-sell services
  • Experience in contract negotiations, issue resolution, and risk management
  • Professional licensure or PMP certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
