The US technologist performs US examinations on IP, OP, and ECC patients. Exams are performed per approved radiologist protocol. The technologist obtains patient history, explains procedure, and operated the US equipment. The US technologist will perform all duties within the department to include standard exams, biopsies, and other special exams as deemed necessary. The US technologist will perform any and all duties in addition to meet the needs of the hospital and as deemed necessary by their supervisor.
Qualifications - Registered Technologist with ARDMS or ARRT Sonography with less than 5 years' experience. SCRQSA certification required if applicable. Must meet continuing education requirements. Current CPR certification required
