Working in Plymouth means you'll join a thriving coastal community known for its historic character, strong healthcare networks, and access to remarkable outdoor recreation. You'll enjoy the appeal of New England living: comfortable neighborhoods, convenient access to city amenities, and the chance to experience a variety of practice settings within Massachusetts while still having the option to extend your reach to other locations across the United States. Travel assignments provide you with exposure to different patient populations, facility workflows, and interdisciplinary teams, all while expanding your professional footprint. Role specifics and benefits: In this Travel Occupational Therapist role, you'll conduct comprehensive evaluations of motor, cognitive, sensory, and functional abilities; develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals; implement therapeutic activities and adaptive equipment solutions; and facilitate safe, supportive home and community participation. You'll provide therapy across settings—from inpatient to outpatient to home health—while collaborating closely with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, social workers, and families to coordinate discharge planning and ensure continuity of care. Documentation will reflect progress, barriers, and outcomes, with an emphasis on objective measures and patient-centered goals. This position offers competitive compensation, including a weekly pay range of $2,178 to $2,263, with the flexibility of weeks-long engagements that may vary in hours. While guaranteed hours are listed as 0.0, you'll benefit from robust scheduling support and clear extension opportunities to continue your impactful work. Additional incentives include a sign-on bonus and housing assistance to ease transition, along with extension opportunities to deepen your experience within the specialty. You'll receive comprehensive support from a dedicated team, including 24/7 assistance while traveling with the company to ensure you're never navigating challenges alone, whether you're on-site, commuting between facilities, or settling into a new community.
Company values: Our partner organization is dedicated to empowering its clinical staff, prioritizing career advancement, and cultivating a supportive, collaborative work environment. You'll find mentorship, access to essential resources, ongoing professional development, and opportunities to lead care initiatives that advance the OT field. The culture emphasizes respectful teamwork, evidence-based practice, and a shared commitment to improving patient outcomes while supporting your own professional growth and well-being.
Call to action: If you're ready to make a tangible difference in people's lives while expanding your professional horizon, apply today. This assignment invites you to join a company that values your expertise, nurtures your development, and supports your journey from Massachusetts to destinations across the country. Start date is 01/12/2026 for weeks-long engagements, with competitive weekly pay and flexible extension options designed to complement your goals and lifestyle.
