Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with both GAAP and SAP standards. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy in financial records and reports. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financials and reporting for accuracy and completeness.
  • Complete the full-cycle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.
  • Maintain GL and all transactions.
  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.
  • Income statement analysis and management.
  • Daily cash reconciliation.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
  • Prepare and post month-end close journal entries and accruals.
  • Process and maintain AP and AR ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  • Fixed Asset management.
  • Documenting process and procedures.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and SAP standards.
  • Manage payroll functions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial forecasting and budgeting.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficient understanding of GAAP, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, month-end/year-end close, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in Quickbooks Online a must.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in work output.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex financial information.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80, $95,000.00 per year
