Shift: Day and Night Rotation

Pay: $ $41.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:

Supervises daily staff activities for an assigned area or function.

Responsibilities:

Ensures operational readiness of crews and fleets. Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels. Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Provides patient care when necessary.

Provides direction, orientation, training, mentoring coaching and development to staff. Conducts performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

Disseminates and coordinates communication plans as assigned by Division Chief/Managers.

Assesses quality of services delivered. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols. Initiates and investigates complaints and accidents.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: High school diploma or GED required. Preferred: Associate's degree in relevant field.

Required Licensure/Certification: Northern CO: Colorado EMT or EMT-P Certification. BLS. Valid driver's license. Metro Denver: Certified Flight Communicator within 1 year of hire.

Preferred: Paramedic (NRP) from NREMT.

Minimum Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
