Position Title: Mental Health Clinician/Clinical Therapist
Locations Available: Hartford, CT
Job Type: Part Time

CPC is a community-based treatment program providing clinical services to varied forensic populations across the nation. CPC has predominantly provided assessment and treatment services to individuals who have been charged or convicted of sexual offenses for several decades. In the past several years, the scope of the work has expanded to also provide assessment and treatment programming to individuals in need of substance use and general mental health services.
The positions available at CPC offer a degree of schedule flexibility and professional autonomy, while still anchoring the clinician to a company that provides routine clinical and administrative oversight and supervision.

Education & Licensing Requirements:
· Master's or Doctoral level degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
· LCSW/LICSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, or licensed Psychologist.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
· Understanding of risk management
· CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing experience
· Clinical outpatient treatment experience and substantial focus on group facilitation
· Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
· Experience providing Sex Offender Treatment, Domestic Violence Treatment, or Substance Abuse Treatment
· Spanish speaking, preferred
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive evaluations and administer and interpret related risk assessment and psychological measures;
· Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans;
· Provide a combination of group and individual therapy sessions;
· Document group and individual clinical contacts in an online documentation system;
· Prepare monthly reports summarizing the clients' ongoing progress, or lack thereof;
· Prepare detailed termination reports for clients discharging from the treatment program;
· Attend clinical trainings, containment meetings, or supervisory meetings;
· Work closely and collaboratively with coordinators, coworkers, customers;
· Work in an independent setting with strong organizational skills and rigorous attention to detail;
· Adherence to contractual timelines;
· Adherence to professional and confidentiality requirements in handling client records.
