Schendel Lawn & Landscape and its sister company, Green Pest Solutions, is looking for a high energy, people-and-fun-loving person to bill customers and then make sure our customers pay us after we fulfill our high-expectation promises to them. This full-time position is located in our Topeka office.

We are looking for someone:

  • Who can identify and assess customer needs and take action to resolve the same business day.
  • Who is an advocate for exceptional customer care and goes the extra mile to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Who can answer customer questions about billing and resolve billing issues to customer satisfaction.
  • Who can manage the many requirements of commercial customers to facilitate billing and meet their QA requirements.
  • Who can manage all customer billing invoices per month)
  • Who can complete all collection activities (phone calls, emails, etc.)
  • Who can regularly review tickets and customer data to ensure correct billing.
  • Who will be a resource to help others use software correctly so customers are billed correctly.
  • Who is willing to help with unlimited administrative projects to assist other teams and to create future efficiencies.

Ideal candidates for this position will have:

  • A functional understanding of Microsoft Outlook and can email professionally.
  • The ability to learn software quickly and roll with the many changes we make in how we use the software.
  • The ability to figure out the best course of action for the customer without a great deal of guidance.
  • The ability to master the details. The details in our line of business affect our customers, so we must enter all data into the system correctly.
  • The desire to work with customers over the phone to solve problems and will be able to have difficult conversations to collect money owed for services completed.
