Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Test new web pages (servlets and jsp's) for multiple customers
  • Develop and Test new web services for multiple customers
  • Maintain existing Java code for multiple customers
  • Ensure related documentation is complete and maintained in a timely fashion
  • Develop technical specifications based on Solution Summary documents provided by Business Analysts
  • Research customer problems referred by technical support
  • Build and Deploy Customer software to local environments
  • Maintain internal Java tools for building and deploying software

Qualifications:

  • Object Oriented Programming experience including working with servlets and java server pages
  • 5 + years experience with writing SQL queries and working with databases
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Work at the corporate headquarters in Tallahassee, FL
  • 5 + years experience utilizing HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with the Public Safety sector (Corrections, Law Enforcement)
  • Experience working with Subversion source control product
  • Experience working with Eclipse IDE
