About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Sales Application Engineer for a high-impact position that bridges technical engineering, client engagement, and project delivery. This role is ideal for a hands-on mechanical engineer with expertise in thermal and fluid sciences, heat exchanger systems, and industrial HVAC applications someone who thrives on turning complex engineering challenges into real-world solutions. You'll be the single point of contact for customers—from requirement gathering and design to quotation, fabrication, and final delivery. This position blends technical depth with business acumen, offering end-to-end visibility of engineered-to-order systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manage customer relationships and technical discussions, providing designs, quotations, and lifecycle support.

Develop tailored solutions by understanding client needs in HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial cooling systems.

Prepare proposals, bid tabulations, datasheets, and cost estimations.

Review and ensure compliance with ASME, TEMA, API, and other engineering standards.

Collaborate with internal teams (design, manufacturing, materials, and supply chain) to execute projects from concept to delivery.

Support system commissioning, startup, and client handoffs.

Coordinate with vendors for design reviews, NCR/RCA resolution, and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).

Participate in 6–8 annual site visits (1–3 days each) for client meetings, audits, and project coordination.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering this is mandatory.

5+ years of professional experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial cooling systems.

Strong knowledge of thermal and fluid sciences, heat transfer, fluid flow, and mechanical design principles.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Self-motivated, collaborative, and driven to deliver technical excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in project management or cross-functional engineering coordination.

Experience with ASME Code Design, HTRI, and Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers.

Familiarity with specification review and industrial verticals such as power

generation, heat recovery, and process cooling.

Previous experience in small to mid-sized engineering organizations.
