We work nationwide with developers, property owners, industrial clients, attorneys, and lenders to deliver environmental due diligence, site assessment, remediation, regulatory compliance support, and related technical services that eliminate or reduce risk and keep projects moving forward.

We are currently seeking an experienced
Project Manager

to join our team of geologists, engineers, and environmental professionals. The ideal candidate thrives in a client-focused environment, enjoys solving complex environmental challenges, and is skilled at coordinating multidisciplinary technical work from planning through completion.

The prospective candidate should be a proficient environmental professional with strong technical background, project management experience, and excellent communication skills. He/she enjoys hands-on problem solving and can translate complex environmental data into clear, client-ready communication, recommendations, and reports.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager at CRB, you will oversee and collaborate on environmental consulting projects including pre-transactional due diligence site assessments, site assessments, remedial design and implementation, and compliance support. In this role you will:

• Manage environmental consulting projects from scoping through delivery, ensuring technical quality, schedule adherence, and budget performance
• Serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong client relationships and clear communication
• Coordinate field activities, such as Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), soil and groundwater investigations, remediation implementation, and sampling programs
• Prepare and review technical reports, work plans, proposals, and deliverables
• Work with internal teams and subcontractors to schedule field work, analysis, data review, and reporting
• Ensure projects comply with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and industry standards
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to project planning, quality assurance, and continuous improvement

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Experience managing environmental projects including Phase I / Phase II ESAs, remediation design
• Strong knowledge of environmental site assessment methods, remediation technologies, and permitting processes (Asbestos certification is a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences
• Ability to coordinate field investigations, vendor and subcontractor work, and deliverable schedules
• Proven ability to build strong client relationships and deliver on project expectations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer not required but are a plus
• Experience with environmental permitting, compliance documentation, or expert witness support
• Familiarity with environmental data management systems and regulatory database tools
