Maintenance Tech PositionLarge 55 plus Manufactured Home and RV Community Resort located in Bonita Springs has an opening for an experienced and motivated Full Time Maintenance Technician. As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the repair & upkeep of the community, including community-owned assets and common areas. Applicant must be willing to work inside and outside for extended periods of time and often near/around our residents. Able to lift >50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to work independently and with others and have excellent customer service skills.Job Description/ExperienceOur community maintenance department needs are growing, and we are looking for a Maintenance Technician with experience and knowledge in all types of carpentry and trade work such as, but not limited to, the following:· Installing doors, floors, drywall, etc.· Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits, replace defective circuit breakers, receptacles, switches, etc.· Install new plumbing faucets, replace defective valves, etc.· The knowledge or ability to learn how to check our utility pumps and motors, to make sure all is in working order and identify when they are not.· Deal with incoming work order requests and log when complete.· Abide by community safety measures and policies.· You will also be required to assist with other employees if assistance is needed.· Must be willing to be on-call for emergencies and service calls 24/7 (guaranteed 1-hour O.T. for after-hours call-ins)Experience· Advanced carpentry knowledge· Electrical & plumbing knowledge· Knowledge of pumps, motors, utility & power systems preferred· General, all-around knowledge/experience in upkeep of community.Applicants must pass a background screening prior to hiring.English speaking required; Bilingual preferred.Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person
