About us

We are seeking a friendly, outgoing individual to join our team. We are a professional and fast paced atmosphere, therefore the ability to be an accurate multi-tasker is needed. Our office is looking a respectful communicator who enjoys dealing with the public. Computer skills a must. Good phone/people skills, Insurance verification and processing, Team Oriented Individual, Computer operation experience. Our ideal front desk receptionist candidate will take new patient information and insurance information over the phone and enter it into the computer system. The successful candidate must also help schedule patient appointments, answer patient questions about dental services, and maintain a clean and professional reception area. We are willing to train the right candidate with no experience.

Pay is determined by applicant's experience.

  • 8-9 hour shift

  • Ability to travel to Hammond & Covington locations

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Dental Assisting experience: Not required, but preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and inform them of procedures.
  • Place patient's files in the proper filing system.
  • Schedule appointments with general dentists.
  • Insurance verification and processing
  • Answer phones, transfer calls, and respond to emails.
  • Create dental charts and treatment plans.
  • Communicate with insurance companies, dental hygienists, and dentists.
  • Collect payments from patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
