Our market includes municipal, mining, industrial, and building trades, as well as multistage vertical and horizontal pumps for water and wastewater applications.

Part Time 8:00am-4:30pm

Must be a licensed CPA

  • 7+ years of Proven experience in accounting, payroll, and operational support
  • Strong experience in Great Plains financial software
  • Strong creative skills, and strong resolve to think outside of the box.
  • Verbal and Written communication skills to create reports and present them to necessary teams.

Overall responsibilities of the Lead Accountant:

  • Work closely with the Executives on future planning and cost savings.
  • Prepare monthly analysis concerning sales, company trends, and obstacles.
  • Offer advice to the executive team regarding spending and budget questions

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable (A/R)

  • Enter customer credits and maintain accurate records
  • ·Review detailed ageing reports and oversee with collection
  • Final approval of customer credit applications

Payroll (P/R)

  • Enter and track all payroll deductions
  • Workers' compensation audits
  • ·Assist with payroll audits

Accounts Payable (A/P)

  • Review of aging details for vendor accounts

Cash Management

  • Reconcile cash accounts monthly
  • Monitor and review main cash account

Sales Tax Compliance

  • Track sales by state for tax reporting
  • Review and file state sales tax reports currently 13 states (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually)

General & Miscellaneous

  • Prepare monthly financial statements
  • Submit estimated taxes quarterly
  • Coordinate with CPA for year-end and ongoing financial matters
  • Manage insurance-related tasks as needed
  • Assist with inventory pump counts and year-end inventory review
  • Maintain timely and professional email correspondence
