Role Description

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to join our team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This is a full-time, on-site role. The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and optimal performance of our network infrastructure. Daily responsibilities include identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, managing network firewalls and intrusion detection systems, and designing secure network architectures. The engineer will also be tasked with monitoring network activity, responding to incidents, and implementing industry best practices to safeguard organizational data.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Network Administration and Network Engineering
  • Strong skills in Network Security and Cybersecurity practices
  • Knowledgeable in Information Security principles and risk management
  • Ability to deploy, manage, and configure network security tools and firewalls
  • Proficiency in security protocols and standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, CEH) are highly preferred
  • Problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills
  • Experience in managing networks for large-scale organizations is a plus
