As the Site Operations Manager you'll be responsible for the efficient operation of the warehouse, including order fulfillment, shipping/receiving and inventory controlactivities. In this role, you'll have a starring role in helping us continue to provide outstanding solutions for our global customers.Pay, Benefits And More.We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and the opportunity to participate in a company incentive plan.What you'll do on a typical day:Oversee operational and personnel activities in the facility and ensure the safe, clean and efficient operation of the siteHire, train, develop and evaluate staff effectively, consulting with the HR team as neededMaintain work schedules and work assignmentsEnsure time and attendance is properly maintained, monitored and approved in a timely mannerEnsure efficient utilization of all equipment and the coordination of maintenance needsMaintain and model the 7S Workplace Organization standard; ensure all safety procedures and policies are followedPartner with staff to manage and always maintain appropriate stockEnsure compliance with specified contract metricsMaintain high standards of operational efficiencyEnsure quality management system procedures are implemented throughout functional groupsFocus on productivity, quality and safety requirements in accordance with company needs and customer requirementsWhat you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need:5 years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment5 years managerial/supervisory experienceExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipmentAvailability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekendsIt'd be great if you also have:Bachelor's or master's degreeBilingual English/SpanishLean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experienceExperience in an AS9100 or ISO environmentWarehouse Management Systems (WMS) experienceWorking knowledge of financial accounting, including developing and/or managing a P&L; experience with HR practicesWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
