Sr Electrical Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a several skilled and motivated Electrical Engineers to join one or more of our engineering clients. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and components that meet project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. These roles involve hands-on problem-solving, project coordination, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems, components, and equipment for residential, commercial, or industrial applications.
- Prepare electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documentation using CAD software.
- Perform load calculations, system layouts, and electrical distribution design.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations (NEC, IEEE, IEC, NFPA, etc.).
- Conduct site inspections, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical installations.
- Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and project management teams to coordinate designs and project schedules.
- Select and specify electrical components, materials, and equipment.
- Support project bidding, cost estimation, and procurement processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers or technicians.
- Prepare detailed reports, proposals, and as-built documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in electrical design, construction, or related industry.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Experience with PLC programming, control systems, or automation.
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems or power distribution networks.
- Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Experience with BIM or 3D modeling tools.
