About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented
Senior Construction Estimator
to join

our team. In this role, you'll prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for
commercial

and civil construction projects
. You'll analyze project plans, evaluate bid documents, and

collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure successful project delivery.

What You'll Do


• Review project plans and specifications to understand project scope and requirements


• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors


• Develop pricing models and maintain cost databases


• Compile and submit competitive bids for commercial and civil projects


• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors


• Support project budgeting and forecasting


• Monitor market trends, materials pricing, and labor rates


• Work closely with project teams to support planning and decision-making


• Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies


• Stay current with industry standards and best practices

What We're Looking For

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or

equivalent experience)

Experience:


• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating (commercial or civil projects preferred)


• Experience with civil/underground utility work is a plus

Skills:


• Proficient with estimating software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar)


• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and codes


• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other relevant software


• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities


• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
