What you'll do

  • Drive a box truck safely and efficiently to deliver products to various locations.
  • Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
  • Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or issues promptly.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading of goods for delivery.
  • Assist in organizing the warehouse as needed, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving commercial driving.
  • Familiarity with box trucks and manual transmission vehicles is essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and inventory management.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of operating forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred but not required.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
