We're seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Pet Groomer to join our team and uphold our exceptional standards of care, service, and safety.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality grooming services for pets in our care while ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities include bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling pets' coats according to breed standards or owner preferences.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has confidence and the skills to demonstrate it, and loves working with pets.

Key Responsibilities

● Trim nails, clean ears, and provide other hygiene services

● Bathe, brush, de-shed, and dry pets using appropriate products and techniques

● Perform breed-specific or owner-requested haircuts and styling

● Keep grooming tools and workstations clean and sanitized

● Communicate with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare

● Ensure a safe and stress-free experience for all animals

● Schedule and manage appointments through our software

Qualifications

● Prior professional grooming experience or completion of a certified grooming program required

● Ability to safely lift and handle pets of all sizes and temperaments

● Knowledge of breed-specific cuts, coat types, and grooming techniques

● Understanding of canine skin and coat health and the ability to recognize potential health issues

● Excellent communication and customer service skills—able to discuss styles, preferences, and pet behavior with clients

● Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to maintain grooming schedules and cleanliness

● Commitment to safety, sanitation, and humane handling standards

● CPR or Pet First Aid certification (preferred)

● Attention to detail and pride in providing high-quality, consistent grooming results

Requirements

● 1+ years of pet grooming experience

● Experience handling and grooming dogs of all breeds and sizes

● Strong organizational and time management skills

● Excellent phone etiquette and professional email communication skills

● Familiarity with Paylocity and MoeGo preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60, $90,000.00 per year
