Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an RN – Intermediate Care for a job in Utica, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients requiring intermediate/step-down level monitoring.
  • Perform frequent assessments, monitor cardiac rhythms, and manage complex patient conditions.
  • Administer medications, titrate drips as allowed by unit protocols, and respond to changes in patient status.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support patient education and discharge planning.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of IMCU/PCU experience (required).
  • Travel nursing experience required.
  • Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
  • Active NY State RN license (Nursys verification required).
  • All RN licenses must be active and in good standing.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
