Position: Sales Representative (Full-time, Exempt)
Office Location: Queens, NY/Hoboken or Fort Lee, NJ
We are a leading Japanese food Manufacturer seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our East Region team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for sales and a strong understanding of diverse cultural markets to contribute to our continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned East Region territory.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, identifying their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful order fulfillment.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows as needed.
- Requires travel within the East Region.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of proven sales experience with a track record of achieving sales goals is preferred.
- Fluent in English with the ability to communicate professionally in business settings.
- Proficiency in Japanese, Korean, or Chinese is preferred.
- Experience working with Japanese companies is highly preferred.
- Experience in the food industry is a huge plus, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Visa Support: No
Salary: DOE $70,000.00~80, company car + benefit package
The salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience level, with the provided range typically reflecting 2-3 years of prior sales experience.
