The Role: Service Advisor

The Service Advisor is the critical link between the customer and our certified service technicians. You will be responsible for providing a seamless, transparent, and superior experience for every luxury owner who walks through our doors.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Customer Consultation: Greet customers promptly and professionally. Actively listen to their vehicle concerns and clearly document all issues and service requests.
  • Repair Order (RO) Management: Accurately prepare repair orders, translate customer descriptions into technical language for technicians, and monitor the progress of vehicle repairs throughout the day.
  • Estimate & Sales Presentation: Clearly communicate the results of vehicle inspections and advise customers on necessary maintenance, recommended repairs, and the benefits of genuine parts and accessories.
  • Process Efficiency: Work closely with the Parts Department and Service Technicians to ensure efficient workflow, accurate parts ordering, and timely completion of all work.
  • Documentation & Follow-Up: Maintain meticulous records using the Dealer Management System (DMS), verify warranty and service contract coverage, and conduct follow-up communication to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Skills

We are seeking a candidate who embodies the professionalism and quality associated with the Volvo brand.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, preferably within a luxury or high-line franchised dealership setting.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair processes.
  • DMS Proficiency: High level of proficiency with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as CDK/ADP, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar software.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
  • Licensing: Valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record.
