Company Overview:

Sunroom Coffee is a newer coffee shop that has just opened last December. We are one of, if not the fastest growing coffee shop in Utah.

We are a premium coffee shop that prides ourselves on creating an environment of being open-minded in the coffee scene, creating coffee cocktails unlike what is seen everywhere, with our eye on the traditional as well. We have lounge like seating, and a high-spirited shop.

Location Details:

Currently, Sunroom Coffee has a brick and mortar location downtown attached to Salt Lake Crossing.

Shift hours and schedule:

We are open 7am to 10pm Sun-Thurs, and 7am to 12am Friday & Saturday.

Responsibilities:

-Taking customers orders, helping them find the perfect drink for their needs and preferences, and translating that to the team.

-Prepping drinks, mixing together drinks, pulling shops on a manual machine, steaming milk in a variety of techniques, & serving the customer by hand.

-Prepping, making, and heating/toasting a variety of food options. (TREE NUTS PRESENT)

-Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and organization.

-Filling and prepping the shop for each rush.

-Opening and/or closing the coffee bar/shop.

-Setting up all of the equipment and ingredients.

-Checking in with guests and ensuring each guest is receiving a 5 star experience.

-Talking, connecting, and creating relationships with our regulars, team, & customers.

-Being the best bartenderista anyone has ever seen.

-Taking/updating Inventory

-Maintaining the orders of the coffee shop.

-Helping with events & promotional gifts.

-Help with taking and recording content of the shop for social media.

-Assisting the leaders on unique projects or helping solve problems that arise when necessary.

-Taking out trash and cleaning up the shop.

-Organizing stock shipments and receiving/retrieving them.

-Pushing through rushes when our cup line gets to 30-50 cups long with a line out the door.

4 WEEK PROBATIONARY PERIOD TO ENSURE WE ARE GOOD FITS FOR EACH OTHER.

You can never really tell what the job & company is like until you are actually in, and likewise we can never tell what you are like until you are actually hired.

Either you or us can initiate each other to part ways, no hard feelings, we'll leave good references. This is to ensure we both feel comfortable making sure we are what we each are looking for and we can both be happy partnering up together.

• Must be in SLC or nearby.

Compensation, hours, and benefits:

• Hourly pay with tip share.

• Starting Pay: $11 with tip share. (~$15-$17/hr)
