Role Description

This is a contract role for a Process Engineer located on-site in Warren, MI. The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. Responsibilities include developing process control strategies, identifying areas for process enhancement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements. This role emphasizes technical expertise, problem-solving, and effective communication to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Process Design and Process Control
  • Strong skills in Process Engineering
  • Excellent Analytical Skills to assess and solve complex process challenges
  • Experience working within manufacturing or industrial settings is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, schematic drawings, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and create lesson plans and outlines.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, students or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

Must have experience as Process Engineer. GM Processing experience is very strongly preferred.


• 2 or more years of automotive BIW Processing experience (i.e.: automated automotive manufacturing)


• Competent using, NX and Process Designer software (Siemens product)
