Position Overview

Dawson Cole Fine Art is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing & Administrative Assistant to support the behind-the-scenes operations of the gallery. This role is marketing-forward, with additional administrative responsibilities. The focus includes content management, basic analytics, digital organization, internal systems, and ongoing operational support.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing support, including email preparation, image organization, and content coordination
  • Social media posting and content scheduling
  • Website updates and ongoing site maintenance
  • Tracking and organizing marketing assets and basic performance data
  • General administrative support and internal coordination
  • Inventory reporting and data management
  • CRM support (Salesforce experience preferred, not required)
  • Office organization and supply management
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting internal workflows

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in marketing, administration, or operations support preferred
  • Strong computer skills and comfort working across multiple platforms
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and accurate
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities reliably
  • Experience with CRM systems, websites, or content platforms is a must
  • Interest in art, marketing, or creative businesses preferred

Position Details

  • Part-time: 20–30 hours per week (Flexible)
  • On-site position in Carmel-by-the-Sea
  • Part-time employee role
