Outside Sales Representative

Stonehouse Quartz & Granite is looking for a dynamic and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our team.
Build and maintain relationships with customers and provide product expertise while achieving revenue growth for the business. Meet customer needs to the best of the incumbent's ability, in line with Stonehouse Kitchens & Granite's philosophy that the customer is the #1 priority.
Job Responsibilities
- Source, hunt and secure new sales opportunities for the organization
- Solid account management responsibilities for existing accounts
- Manage customer relationships to ensure optimum partnerships
- Develop sales strategies
- Enhance and continually improve customer service experiences for our clients
- Foster a high-performance culture within the team, lead by example
- Brand our firm throughout the commercial, architectural and real estate development industry creating new repeat client accounts
- Diversify our portfolio from general contractors to client direct work. Clients include General Contractors, Property Developers, Architects, Interior Designers and Direct End User Sales
- Prequalify all invitations to bid with a questionnaire
- Submit estimates and follow up until the deal closes
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with approval of the owner team
- Fill out prequalification forms as required
- Manage and update all internal sales logs as required
- Provide weekly reporting on all opportunities and marketing strategy as required
- Set up new client meetings
- Attend networking events to meet new clients and increase industry knowledge
- Visit job sites & follow up on active projects
- Marketing responsibilities include assisting with content creation for at least 4 posts a week across our social media including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. Content includes our facility photos, job site photos, industry reference posts, etc.
- Review our website once a quarter for any required updates which could include adding additional project photo albums, blogs, industry reference, etc.
- Understand products and market competition and stay up to date on industry innovation
- Manage displays and samples
- Consult on pricing and promotions
- Prepare contracts and quotes
- Analyze sales reports
Education and Experience
High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 5 or more years of commercial sales experience in the stone industry.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

- Have and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast past environment.
- Effective problem solving skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple and professional correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Good interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Experience or knowledge of computers - Microsoft Word/Excel as well as estimating software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the industry work environment.
- Must possess accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work sitting/standing in front of a computer for hours a day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60, $70,000.00 per year
