Location: New York City, NY and surrounding areas

Unity Surveillance & Investigations, LLC is seeking qualified and motivated candidates to assist with Claims Investigations and Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Insurance Investigations on a part-time basis. This position requires travel throughout New York City and nearby regions.
Founded in 2012 and located in the Northeast US, Unity Surveillance & Investigations, LLC serves a diverse client base consisting of legal and governmental entities, insurance professionals and private companies. We provide our clients with a high-quality investigative product with an emphasis on customer service and focused time management. Our clients rely on us for assistance in minimizing risk and exposure through fast, accurate and thorough investigative resolutions, while unafraid to think "outside the box".
Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews and obtain written or recorded statements from claimants, witnesses, employers, and other involved parties.
- Capture photographs of accident scenes, equipment, scars, or other relevant evidence.
- Perform scene investigations, including canvassing, measurements, light sequencing, and related activities.
- Prepare and submit detailed progress and investigative reports in accordance with company procedures.
- Upload documentation and evidence accurately using company systems.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of insurance policies, claims processes, and investigative procedures.
- Working knowledge of the internet and digital document uploads.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Basic understanding of audio recording equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, current registration, and insurance.
- Eligible for a New York State Private Investigator license (or ability to obtain).
Schedule:
- Part-time hours; schedule varies and may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation:
- $20.00 – $30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
