Job Summary
- Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and
- coworkers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
- MRI Level I will assist the MRI Technologists by helping to provide patient care in changing the patient into scrubs,
- doing a thorough MRI safety screening, walking patients to and from the waiting rooms, communicate with RNs for
- inpatients that need an MRI, cleaning the MRI scan table and cushions after each patient, help lift and pulling
- patients to get on the MRI table.
- MRI Level I will maintain supplies needed for MRI studies.
- MRI Level I will be responsible for always ensuring MRI safety of patients and all others in the MRI department.
- Responsible for clerical duties including verifying patient scheduling.
- Must be proficient in using the electronic medical record, PAC's and Dyna-cad.
- Responsible for transporting MRI patients to and from various locations including from one building to another by
- bed, stretcher, or wheelchair.
- Must be able to assist technologist in transferring patients to the imagine table, as well as assisting the
- technologist with lifting the patient on the bed or stretcher for exams not requiring the patient to be moved to the
- examination table.
- Will assist patients to the restroom and/or with the use of bedpans and urinals.
- Must maintain the cleanliness and availability of the transport equipment.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Perform MRI safety screening form as a second screening with a level 2 technologist as the first screening.
Work Schedule: 72 Hours Biweekly. Full Time. 1:00pm - 1:00am
Qualifications/Training:
Must possess intermediate computer skills to complete tasks associated with job duties for this position.
Must possess good interpersonal communication skills.
Must possess the ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with individuals at various levels of
the organization.
- Must be able to work and function independently during performance of job duties.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:
Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
BLS required within 30 Days
