Digestive Specialists Inc. is a growing company in search of a histology technician to join their pathology department (GI Pathology of Dayton) located at our Huber Heights, OH office.

Candidates must have histology experience and ASCP Board certified or eligible with a science degree and laboratory technician background for on-the-job training and possible future certification.

Job responsibilities will include specimen grossing, embedding, microtomy, special staining, immunohistochemistry, light computer data entry, and other duties as assigned.

An ideal applicant will have team mentality, dependable, highly motivated, able to work independently and as a team, focused, precise, and methodical with patient care as a top priority. Embraces challenges and accepts responsibilities and new task. Offers ideas for continuous quality improvement. Open and honest communication and an understanding of HIPAA laws and patient confidentiality.

The position is full-time Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. No weekends or major holidays.

Pay range $23-$28

Employment is based on the above requirements as well as a background check and drug screen.
