Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to oversee guest services and front desk operations at our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a deep understanding of hotel management. This role is vital in ensuring a seamless guest experience, maintaining high standards of hospitality, and managing daily front desk activities. The Front Desk Supervisor will serve as a key point of contact for guests and staff, fostering a welcoming environment that promotes guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise front desk staff to ensure efficient check-in and check-out processes
  • Manage guest inquiries, reservations, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy
  • Oversee guest relations to resolve issues promptly and enhance overall guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
  • Handle night audit procedures and reconcile daily financial transactions
  • Train and mentor front desk team members on hospitality standards, phone etiquette, and multi-line phone system operations
  • Monitor front desk activities to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
  • Assist in managing booking systems, guest accounts, and billing processes
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the hotel's brand standards at all times

Experience

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
  • Strong background in customer service within a resort or hotel environment
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to assist diverse guest populations
  • Previous experience with night audit procedures is preferred
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team, manage guest relations, and handle high-pressure situations effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction expertise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
