Job Summary:

Roswell Inc is seeking a dynamic, creative, and highly organized
Marketing & Communications Manager

to be the driving force behind helping tell Roswell's story and building our brand presence in the community. This is a hands-on role for a versatile marketing and communications professional who can translate organizational strategy into action, adapt to the evolving needs of our businesses, and bring our story to life across all channels. Equal parts creative thinker, designer, and storyteller, this person thrives in a dynamic environment where clarity, connection, and community impact are at the heart of every message.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Digital Marketing:

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy across key platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) to increase engagement and brand awareness.
  • Write compelling copy and create visually appealing graphics for all digital channels.
  • Manage and maintain the Roswell Inc. website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and optimized (including event listings, blog posts, and project updates).
  • Write, distribute, and track press releases, media alerts, and blog posts that highlight organizational milestones and economic trends.
  • Assist with the production and promotion of our award-winning podcast,
    Roswell Brew Talks

, including show note writing, social media promotion, and graphic creation.

Graphic Design & Brand Management:

  • Design and produce a wide range of high-quality marketing materials, including flyers, signage, ads, and email campaigns using the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Lead the conceptualization, design, copywriting, and layout of our flagship Annual Impact Report.
  • Create professional and visually engaging presentations in PowerPoint for the President & CEO and leadership team for key stakeholder meetings, board presentations, and annual events.

Event Management & Support:

  • Plan, promote, and execute key stakeholder events including our bi-monthly Economic Development Alliance Luncheons, Annual Brokers Lunch, and Annual Economic Development Forecast Breakfast.
  • Provide marketing and logistical support for signature Roswell Inc events such as Insight Roswell, our largest annual Economic Development Update attended by 470+ guests, and the Roswell Business Classic, our annual golf and pickleball outing that focuses on building business connections.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of proven experience in a hands-on marketing/communications role, with a portfolio showcasing your skills.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms.
  • Strong experience with website management (WordPress) and social media scheduling/analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in PowerPoint for presentation design.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter with a proactive attitude, high level of initiative, and keen attention to detail.

Schedule & Hours:

This is a full-time, salaried position based in-person at our Roswell office (1099 Alpharetta Street, Roswell, GA Core business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The role requires a flexible schedule to support key offsite events, typically occurring 2-3 times per month. On these days, hours may extend from as early as 7:00 a.m. to as late as 9:00 p.m. Additionally, this position requires occasional weekend work (typically 2-3 days per year) for event preparation.
